Chaos. That’s the word that most accurately describes the week I just had. But chaos isn’t necessarily a bad thing! For instance, I wouldn’t call standing 8 feet away from Ed Sheeran a bad thing! In addition to attending the concert with my friends, I went to play rehearsal every day, along with the semi-formal dance, a brunch for the seniors of my school, and a BP. fashion show (more on that later!).
So how did I manage? Planning ahead. I’m serious. Being organized really helps when preparing for a week as crazy as mine. I’m not just talking about outfits; I use an online to-do list that help me keep track of all my engagements. It even sends me text message reminders!
On the upside, this week was jam-packed with sartorial opportunities! I kept it classic and simple for the brunch in a striped fit-and-flare dress and black booties. For the concert, I went for the comfort factor because we were going to be standing for several hours: jeans and a lace sweater. Semi was the most fun because I absolutely love dressing up. I fell in love with a black-and-silver dress and paired it with black booties, a topknot and red lips. (If you are getting ready for a winter/spring dance, check out The Prom Shop.)

I’ll leave you with my favorite song by Ed Sheeran!
