Kate Bosworth is pretty much an expert on festival style. A Coachella veteran, she deftly and daringly mixes the latest trends for pitch-perfect looks that exude West Coast cool. So it makes sense that Topshop asked Kate to pick some of her favorite pieces of the season and then sent her into the desert with director Michael Polish, where they shot an ethereal video showcasing Kate’s captivating festival style.

Bobeau Sleeveless High/Low BlousesVince Camuto Midi Tube Skirts

Work. Every wardrobe needs a black pencil skirt—the more fitted and forties-inspired, the better. This skirt will work all through summer and will pair with fall’s nipped-in blazers and sweaters. The top is another key story for spring with its graphic black and white pattern and easy, feminine fit.

Weekend. Whitney is wearing one of my favorite spring trends: the sleeveless jacket. This one features another big spring story with its rose print and fun moto-zip details. I’ve paired it with an unexpected dotted skinny for a fun, casual look.

Astr Cutout Shoulder Dress | Collection B Crossbody Satchel | Isaac Mizrahi New York Perforated Belt

Event. Whitney is ready for a summer garden party wearing a vanilla dress and sherbert pastel accessories from Savvy. The pleats and sleeve cutouts make this cream dress perfect for any warm-weather event. I’ve chosen a perforated belt and lilac crossbody to complete the outfit. A pastel crossbody is a fun and practical addition for spring and summer!

Three of our personal stylists at the downtown Seattle store are teaming up to bring you six of their favorite trends for spring—including tips on how to wear them:

1. Color pops and neon accessories. Neons and bright colors on jewelry, shoes and handbags pack a big punch in small doses. Try pairing a neon clutch with a beige trench coat or a set of bright bracelets with a black-and-white striped shirt. (Pictured: Furla Transparent Rubber Satchel | MARC BY MARC JACOBS Puffy Bangle | kate spade Pump)

2. Caged sandals. Caged sandals make almost any outfit look current, confident and adventurous. This is definitely a type of shoe that gets noticed. (Pictured: Jimmy Choo Caged Sandal | Gucci ‘Ursula’ Sandal)

3. Clear, glossy lips. Clear lip gloss calls attention to your lips but still seems effortless and natural. Bonus: this goes with any look! (Pictured: Bobbi Brown Crystal Lip Gloss | Kate Somerville Lip Treatment + GlossM·A·C Clear Lipglass)

4. Camo. It really stands up to the test of time. It is tough and urban, yet casual. Try adding camo elements to more feminine apparel to celebrate the contrast. (Pictured: Free People Camo Blazer | Haute Hippie Camo Trousers)

5. Leather shorts. If you can pull off this look, why not? Leather shorts are a great reason to pull out those caged sandals, or you can wear them with a dressy T-shirt and several layered skinny necklaces. (Pictured: Milly Shorts | T by Alexander Wang Shorts | L’AGENCE Shorts)

6. Lace details. Lace is so feminine and delicate. To stop it from being overly sweet, pair it with a structured or tougher piece—like a lace top underneath a structured blazer, a lace skirt with a leather jacket, or lace where you’d least expect it, like on T-shirts or tennis shoes. Layers are huge at Fashion Week this season. Luckily, the double jacket look is both trendy and warm! The addition of a black leather layer and chunky boots adds a little toughness to an otherwise femme look.

I like how accessible and versatile Paulina’s outfit is. She can go straight from the office to dinner and a show. During Fashion Week, there’s just never enough time in the day, and it’s crucial to have that sartorial flexibility.
