First-Lady Fashion: Wu Does It Again

Congrats to Jason Wu for being chosen again as the designer to dress the First Lady of the United States at the Inaugural Ball! It’s a second-time honor for the 30-year-old designer whose immediate reaction to finding out FLOTUS had chosen his gown was to tweet, “#Inshock!!!”

Nothing shocks us about Wu being tapped, especially after our first look at the First Lady in this ruby-red velvet and chiffon show-stopper—a dress just as elegant and glamorous as his 2009 gown, which is now housed in the National Museum of American History.
