Gimlet-eyed Crystal Nicodemus is busy snapping street-style starlets during Fashion Week. Here are her photos to inspire you for next season (or this one), and some wardrobe picks to help you get the look.
Tamara Kalinic (Glam and Glitter) is often featured during our Fashion Week coverage thanks to her trendy take on style. London is the perfect town to mix in transitional fall pieces with summer styles. The miniskirt is a popular, mod-inspired length and pairs well with thigh-high boots (if you haven’t tried this footwear trend yet, go for it!). A chunky knit balances out the look with a more casual, autumnal vibe. Love the pop of neon in her purse too!
Eva’s layering game is advanced. It’s obvious that knit dresses, white shirts and wrap skirts are some of the top themes of the season, but I never thought I’d see them all at once! This is a fun, sporty look that makes me want to experiment with my own closet. The suede skirt adds some texture, while the studded Valentino lends a little chic edge to the ensemble.
Fiona Jane’s (SpotDing) knotted silk top is one of the coolest I’ve seen in a while. Length is an important theme in blouses this season and this statement number is seriously cool. I love the movement of the light silk, especially when paired with distressed denim. A wide-brimmed hat, delicate charm necklaces and wire-framed sunglasses add a ’70s feel to this urban casual look. Ankle-strap heels are a hot ticket item too, and these square-toed styles are feminine and chic.
