Spring’s Casual Layers: Our 3 Go-Tos

Spring’s warmer days can still come with a chill. We’re sharing our favorite light layers to have on hand for transitioning weather—perfect for maintaining your casual polish when a breeze picks up during al fresco brunches or lazy days on the boat.

Scarves. Sure, this one’s a no-brainer, but it bears repeating: A lightweight scarf is an easy way to make a statement and simply tucks into (or ties onto) your handbag when temperatures rise. Find some inspiration with our 16 ways to wear a scarf video.

Open-Weave Knits. Toss over fitted tanks and maxi dresses to keep your casual spring outfits loose and airy while still looking put together.

Denim Shirts. Reach for one of these anywhere you would a denim jacket. They’ve got that classic look, but feel a lot breezier—and there are so many ways to wear them.

One last tip: Adding an extra layer is just one more versatile way to express that amazing personality of yours. Whether your passion is color, pattern, playful proportions or all of the above, have fun mixing it up!

The idea of tossing an open-weave knit over a maxi dress is perfect! This will give me a chance to wear my tank style Michael Kors before it gets truly warm. Thanks for the tip!

Where can I find the shoes the girl above in the hat and the black and beige sweater, shorts and scarf has on? I’ve looked through the website but can’t find them. Please advise. Thank you.
