Stylist Picks: Girls’ Night at the Opera

Clayton, a Personal Stylist at our Nordstrom San Francisco Centre store, shares snaps and his thoughts on this young sophisticate customer who caught his eye.

From the roof of the Westfield San Francisco Centre, city socialite Stephanie takes a moment to appreciate the sunset before heading to the San Francisco Opera House for a girls’ night out.

The rich brocade, the strong colors of black and gold, and the elegant silhouette are just a few reasons why I am in love with this Jason Wu dress. To make her outfit even more contemporary and city-chic, Stephanie traded in the traditional pump for a mid-calf platform YSL ‘Tribute’ boot. She completed the look with a pair of opera gloves. Did you know that it is said the opera glove first came into fashion in the late 16th and early 17th centuries, worn publicly by England’s Queen Elizabeth I herself?

A little old and a little new: Stephanie, my girl…you know exactly what to do!
