Our Director of Creative Projects and Pop-In Shop curator Olivia Kim offers up daily inspiration, favorite products and things she’s super in love with right now.

Today’s look is modern and minimal. I love the clean palette and novelty jumper (which are seriously trending here in London, by the by). The sweatpant-style trouser is inspired and adds some sportiness to this cool-girl get up. I can’t wait to see what she’s got in store for us in Paris!
The moto jacket strikes again! Lindsey is taking it to a sporty place and adding some edge to her minimalist look. Culottes are the breakout trend in London, so thank goodness the weather is cooperating.
Lindsey’s styling is easy and cool, which is something all London girls seem to excel at. I think it’s time I find the perfect pair of culottes, so I can get in on this trend, too!
Aimee may look like a tough cookie, but she was actually super sweet! Her zippered leather joggers are über-trendy, and I love the forest green moto jacket. Add a pop-of-color purse and a touch of fur to balance out all that edgy sleekness, and Aimee is ready for her close-up!
Lookbooks are one of the best parts of the resort season, which kicked off earlier this month. It’s fun to see the different models and settings the designers choose, like Joan Smalls on a rainy city street for Givenchy or Hanne Gaby Odiele against stark white walls for Theyskens’ Theory. We’ve culled a few of our favorite shots from the new collections below.
Pleats and leather at Alexander Wang.
Head-to-toe zig-zags at Proenza Schouler.
Lustrous black leather at Helmut Lang.
Graphic prints and leather details at Opening Ceremony.

Sailor stripes and bra tops at Marc Jacobs.
Rich draping and oversized ruffles at Lanvin.
Tropical shadows and exposed midriffs at Jason Wu.

We’re used to sporting black leather jackets, handbags and shoes, but how about skirts, shorts and dresses? Check out our tips on how to work more leather into your wardrobe, from basic-as-can-be to ultra daring.
Keep it simple. Black leather clothes make a bold statement without a lot of fuss. Pair a leather dress with minimal jewelry, and leather shorts or a skirt with a relaxed T-shirt.
Layer with care. Adding a black leather vest is a great way to toughen up feminine summer outfits, like a floral dress. And leather leggings provide the ideal palette for oversized tees and slouchy button-ups.
Complement with color. Think of black leather as a blank slate on which to play with bright colors and prints. Try adding neon accents for an ultra-modern look.
