This jet-setting stylist, blogger (Lebrasse) and Aussie-by-way-of-Dubai is having no trouble dressing for this Fashion Week heat wave. Kat’s modern look is a great mix of menswear structure and feminine styling. I love her whimsical clutch and vibrant heels, which add a touch of fun to the ensemble. Her chic blazer vest has a surprise, too; it’s backless! Love, love, love!

Getting the amazing Fashion Editor of Marie Claire to stop for a photo is no easy feat. Luckily, I caught Zanna Roberts-Rassi sneaking into a show after a quick coffee break. Red is one of my favorite colors, and this lace two-piece set is absolute perfection. I love how she’s dressed down the va-va-voom style of the set with simple lace-up oxfords and completely transformed the outfit. Thanks for the photo and the inspiration, Zanna!

“I love pink! Great transition piece into fall!”

I am totally style-stalking Camille (Camille Over the Rainbow), but I can’t help it! Every time I see Miss Charrière, outfit inspiration follows.

Today’s look is modern and minimal. I love the clean palette and novelty jumper (which are seriously trending here in London, by the by). The sweatpant-style trouser is inspired and adds some sportiness to this cool-girl get up. I can’t wait to see what she’s got in store for us in Paris!

The moto jacket strikes again! Lindsey is taking it to a sporty place and adding some edge to her minimalist look. Culottes are the breakout trend in London, so thank goodness the weather is cooperating.

Lindsey’s styling is easy and cool, which is something all London girls seem to excel at. I think it’s time I find the perfect pair of culottes, so I can get in on this trend, too!

Aimee may look like a tough cookie, but she was actually super sweet! Her zippered leather joggers are über-trendy, and I love the forest green moto jacket. Add a pop-of-color purse and a touch of fur to balance out all that edgy sleekness, and Aimee is ready for her close-up!

Lookbooks are one of the best parts of the resort season, which kicked off earlier this month. It’s fun to see the different models and settings the designers choose, like Joan Smalls on a rainy city street for Givenchy or Hanne Gaby Odiele against stark white walls for Theyskens’ Theory. We’ve culled a few of our favorite shots from the new collections below.

Pleats and leather at Alexander Wang.

Head-to-toe zig-zags at Proenza Schouler.

Lustrous black leather at Helmut Lang.

Graphic prints and leather details at Opening Ceremony.

Slouchy trousers and sweeping hemlines at Theyskens’ Theory.

Sailor stripes and bra tops at Marc Jacobs.

Rich draping and oversized ruffles at Lanvin.

Tropical shadows and exposed midriffs at Jason Wu.

Dainty floral prints at Erdem.

Autumnal hues and Asian-style silhouettes at Marni.

Slivers of skin and black and white at A.L.C.

Busy prints and hints of goth at Givenchy.

Pinstripes and lace at Thakoon.

Sporty meets sheer at 3.1 Phillip Lim.

Sculptural shapes in black and white at Balenciaga.

We’re used to sporting black leather jackets, handbags and shoes, but how about skirts, shorts and dresses? Check out our tips on how to work more leather into your wardrobe, from basic-as-can-be to ultra daring.

A.L.C. ‘Mika’ Stretch Leather Dress | Cacharel Leather Top

Keep it simple. Black leather clothes make a bold statement without a lot of fuss. Pair a leather dress with minimal jewelry, and leather shorts or a skirt with a relaxed T-shirt.

Boy. by Band of Outsiders Skirt | Rachel Zoe ‘Nora’ Leather Vest

Layer with care. Adding a black leather vest is a great way to toughen up feminine summer outfits, like a floral dress. And leather leggings provide the ideal palette for oversized tees and slouchy button-ups.

Complement with color. Think of black leather as a blank slate on which to play with bright colors and prints. Try adding neon accents for an ultra-modern look.

Accessorize. Bags, shoes and even jewelry look chic in black leather. We love Kelly Wearstler’s boho-punk necklace, and this Longchamp backpack is perfect for hot summer days.
