Gimlet-eyed Kristin Yamada is busy snapping street-style starlets during Fashion Week. Here are her photos to inspire you for next season (or this one) and some wardrobe picks to help you get the look.
After many nights of late-night, thumping dance parties, yesterday evening’s low-key Unemployed Magazine screening at the New York EDITION was extremely appealing.
Camille Charriere and Leah DeWavrin at Unemployed Magazine’s party and film premiere
The event was to celebrate Keys, the magazine’s short film by Roi Cydulkin, starring Ruby Aldridge and Marland Backus, which was screening at the beginning of the evening on the hotel’s 30th floor. Afterward, the heavily French crowd—including Camille Charriere, photographer Matthew Frost and Julia Restoin-Roitfeld—decamped to the hotel’s lobby bar for cocktails and sounds by Heron Preston.

The lovely Camille Charrière is a recurring favorite on The Thread and I am a total fangirl for this French blogger. Camille has eclectic taste, but can pull off any look. She also is fun and laid-back and doesn’t let the chaos of Fashion Week affect her.
I absolutely adore the ’70s revival themes that have been popping up this season and Camille’s look fits the trend nicely. Her belted shawl is the centerpiece to her otherwise casual look. I can’t wait to ditch my winter boots for cute pointed flats, too!
As much as I love seeing the wild and crazy outfits at Fashion Week, Camille Charrière (Camille Over the Rainbow) is my true style soul sister. Camille has a way of simplifying trends and making them both innovative and approachable. She is a master of the high-low mix and loves all things menswear-inspired. Denim is having another major season, and I am sold on this retro-modern shirtdress. Thanks, as always, for the continued inspiration, Camille!
Today’s look is modern and minimal. I love the clean palette and novelty jumper (which are seriously trending here in London, by the by). The sweatpant-style trouser is inspired and adds some sportiness to this cool-girl get up. I can’t wait to see what she’s got in store for us in Paris!
Camille Charrière is a wildly popular blogger, and it’s easy to see why. She has classic, effortlessly cool style. Today’s look is the perfect mix of some of fall’s biggest trends: the thick-knit sweater, the camel coat, leather pants and zipper detailing. Camille can do no wrong!
