Now, thanks to “L’Amour Fou“ (Crazy Love), the new YSL documentary by Pierre Thoretton, our obsession has grown to include the designer’s beautiful homes in Morocco and France.

Narrated by Pierre Bergé, YSL’s longtime life and business partner, the film traces the acquisition and sale of the couple’s stunning art and furniture collection. It’s a visual feast to see these incredible objects displayed in the rooms where they were enjoyed—and the highlight is Villa Majorelle, an exquisite residential oasis in the Majorelle Garden in Marrakech.

Designed in 1924 by the French artist Jacques Majorelle, and purchased by YSL and Bergé in 1980, the house is the architectural equivalent of Pop Art in the desert: painted an electric shade of Majorelle Blue with lemon-yellow trim that contrasts brilliantly against the landscape.

We’d love to wander along the walkways of Majorelle’s enchanted garden. But until we make the trip, we’re indulging our sense of adventure (and infusing our beauty routine) with the villa’s palette. Enter the YSL Summer Collection Eyeshadow Duo. Look familiar?
