I can always count on Sofie Valkiers to have an impeccable ensemble. It can be tough to incorporate new trends into your wardrobe without compromising your personal style, but Sofie manages with aplomb. Her kimono-inspired chambray robe is a stunning statement piece. A bright turtleneck adds a bit of Sofie’s trademark color, while the touches of white throughout keep things clean and modern.

Anjelica looks like she just walked off a 1970s rock-band tour bus. I am so pleased with the whole ’70s revival trend, especially this Penny Lane-inspired style. Tall boots, a big hat and a shearling-lined coat make for a statement look. A flowing midi dress keeps things light and feminine.

The blog star behind We Wore What, Danielle Bernstein, is consistently on trend. This ’70s-inspired number has a hint of springtime boho, but still feels modern. The light, airy dress works with her heavy, textural camel coat, while her accessories amp up the seventies appeal. And those lace-up boots are a must have!

The lovely Camille Charrière is a recurring favorite on The Thread and I am a total fangirl for this French blogger. Camille has eclectic taste, but can pull off any look. She also is fun and laid-back and doesn’t let the chaos of Fashion Week affect her.

I absolutely adore the ’70s revival themes that have been popping up this season and Camille’s look fits the trend nicely. Her belted shawl is the centerpiece to her otherwise casual look. I can’t wait to ditch my winter boots for cute pointed flats, too!

What is it like growing up in the fashion industry? Ask Nicky Hilton. A lifetime of Fashion Week front rows, strutting the catwalk and red carpets and eventually designing her own collections made Hilton a connoisseur of clothing. Having never employed a stylist, Hilton climbed her way up the best-dressed lists all on her own, trusting her own sartorial moxie to get her there. Now Hilton passes her secrets along in the form of a new book called 365 Style, which details her special formula for developing a signature style.

Hilton visited our Bellevue Square store on November 14 to give fans the inside scoop on her new book and answer a few of our burning questions. Here she gives us a crash course in personal style, including her five must-have items of the moment.

I can’t wait to try out the new metallic trend, and this Studio 54–inspired skirt is the first thing I’m going to get! While the golden, pleated midi skirt has a ’70s feel, Soraya pairs it with a contemporary moto jacket and sleek-cut blouse, which modernize the look. Updated aviators and a designer clutch give this outfit even more trend power.

I wasn’t able to catch this beauty’s name because she was rushing off to walk the runway. She was running down the street, stopped on a dime, managed this serene pose and then sprinted off again. Models really do know how to work the camera! The slip dress is one of the most popular new cuts, and I love this light, ethereal number. A skinny belt adds definition, while a Chanel bag lends a little premium flair.

Maeve has fully mastered the tough-chic look. This outfit has a rock ’n’ roll edge and biker babe appeal. The peplum skirt and lace heels add some femininity, but her flaming skull tee is the real eye-catcher.

I’ve always wished I had the guts to pull off a rocker look, and Maeve might be just the inspiration I need to go for it!

It was a scorcher, but Jen managed to beat the heat and maintain her summertime chic. This sweet frock is the perfect hue, and I love the creative hemline. Embroidery details are so hot this summer, and Jen’s dress modernizes the trend. Classic ankle booties and a red lip complete this festival look.

Australian phenom, Nicole Warne, is the brains and beauty behind the blog, Gary Pepper. Nicole is not only ridiculously gorgeous and photogenic, but she was also one of the first major cross-over blog stars. Nicole’s style is effortlessly elegant. She stays true to her chic aesthetic and is a master of the high-low mix.
