We asked Shannon Schafer, our Fashion Office accessories director, to handpick her favorite fall trends and pieces from the upcoming Anniversary Sale.
I’m kicking myself for not getting my hands on a military jumpsuit before Fashion Week started. I love all jumpsuits and Cassie’s vintage military one piece would look perfect in my closet. A shearling-lined moto jacket works well with the utilitarian vibe, while silver boots add an unexpected hit of urban cool.
Miko embodies London cool in this outfit. The raw-edge denim trend is wildly popular here, and this jeans and jacket combo is covetable. Shearling adds some modern rustic softness to the edginess of her look. A bold red lip brightens up her simple palette.
What is it like growing up in the fashion industry? Ask Nicky Hilton. A lifetime of Fashion Week front rows, strutting the catwalk and red carpets and eventually designing her own collections made Hilton a connoisseur of clothing. Having never employed a stylist, Hilton climbed her way up the best-dressed lists all on her own, trusting her own sartorial moxie to get her there. Now Hilton passes her secrets along in the form of a new book called 365 Style, which details her special formula for developing a signature style.
Hilton visited our Bellevue Square store on November 14 to give fans the inside scoop on her new book and answer a few of our burning questions. Here she gives us a crash course in personal style, including her five must-have items of the moment.
Talk about tough-girl style! Jenka’s look is part Fashion Week chic, part motorcycle rebel. Her fuzzy jumper softens up her leather look, and I like the creative proportion of her pieces.
I wanted to steal Jenka’s oversize moto vest for my own, as well as those gorgeous pony hair wedge booties. Alas, I restrained myself and just added a few more items to my shopping list!
Katerina is the epitome of New York cool with more than a dash of punk-rock edge. There is just something indefinably rebellious about a leather jacket. I love the studs and zipper details on Katerina’s classic leather moto. Perhaps a bedazzling session is in my future!
Angelica says she’s not afraid to try new looks and trends, and she wouldn’t classify her style in any one category. Today’s look has a punky schoolgirl edge, thanks to her heavy boots and black-and-red palette. This young blogger is garnering a big following in her native Sweden, and it’s only a matter of time before she conquers the U.S., too!
Eva cracked me up when she told me she was worried she looked like a Christmas tree in her glittering crew and green leather skinnies.
The London-based, Norwegian-born blogger (Wigertstil) says she usually prefers rock n’ roll looks, but has found inspiration in her grandmother’s style. Eva says she’s a bit of a chameleon, and can’t wait to try some cowgirl looks next!

Here at headquarters, we snapped Rosanna—our BP. Shoes Product Merchandiser—as she was wrapped up in some market research. Since we had a shoe expert on our hands, we asked her for a favorite trend she was spotting for fall. We should have guessed, considering what she was wearing: “Adorable oxfords!”
Oxfords—pumps or flats, patents or leathers—you name it, they continue to be big next season, according to Rosanna. “They complement almost any outfit—and are so comfortable and versatile. Wear them with jeans and a simple tee, pair them with tights and a dainty dress, or channel a menswear vibe with trousers and a fitted blazer. The options are endless!”
Check out three of Rosanna’s personal favorite styles (not to forget those sweet, cobalt ‘Sidney’ oxfords she’s sporting).
