Jess hails from Australia, but she’s always on the road gathering content for her blog, Tuula. She’s a rising star in the blog world and is making a name for herself, thanks to her youthful, polished style.

She says she prefers streamlined simplicity, rather than piling on statement accessories and trends. I love her bright color choices and that electric moto-inspired coat!

It’s not every day that you see a young woman with such a clear stylistic vision. Paula’s look is inspired by classic prep styling but gets an update with a modern coat and retro wingtips. Oxblood has been one of the season’s heavy hitters, and Paula’s moto-inspired coat is the perfect hue. I can’t wait to try this look for myself!

The lovely Jenna has a classic, vintage chic style that stands out in its simplicity. Sometimes, in a sea of neon and bling, understated chic stands out the most.

Jenna is a freelance writer, but was on assignment for Jezebel–one of my most-loved websites. Her favorite thing about Fashion Week? Reuniting with her friends from abroad and knowing that fall is just around the corner.

Wowza! These three Italian bloggers stopped me in my tracks (check them out at Glamgerous, Scent of Obsession and The Fashion Fruit). I love how coordinated and complementary their ensembles are; they clearly know how to work color and cut to make a statement.

Although Nicoletta said they’re inspired by classic Italian style, it’s Parisian chic that is most interesting to the trio this season.

Exploring the night sky reveals the wonder of faraway stars, while a spectacular pair of platforms brings stellar beauty down to earth.

Our Inspiration: An astronomer shares a view of the Pelican Nebula in the constellation Cygnus; designer Jeffrey Campbell channels celestial navigation with his ‘Lita‘ platform in a colorful print called Cosmic.

We know you wouldn’t actually climb any mountains in these lace-up boots, but we can’t help but get lost in their hiking-inspired rugged laces, metal D-rings and ample ankle support—not to mention their daring, altitude-loving heels. Here’s how we’d wear them for a downtown day trip.

A cape paired with some winter shorts and tights provides the perfect balance for over-the-top platform booties. And a demure silk blouse softens those alpine-appropriate textures, while a felted wool hat is the right topper for a city-chic—and well-paved—lowlands adventure.
