It was a cold, windy Saturday in New York City. The snow finally stopped falling, but the drifts caused by plows made navigating the streets treacherous, especially for stiletto-wearing fashionistas!
I ventured away from Lincoln Center today for some of the uber-hip shows, like Band of Outsiders and Alexander Wang, and was rewarded with a veritable who’s who list of the industry’s elite. From Joanna Hillman to Leandra Medine, everyone braved the wind and snow for a glimpse at next year’s fashion.
Somehow, the crowds and traffic and hectic show schedule only make Fashion Week more fun. It’s so inspiring to be here, right in the middle of the craziness, and I wouldn’t change a thing! Well, maybe less snow, but we can’t have it all.

I’ll admit it: I style-stalk Miss Joanna Hillman. She is both edgy and classic, and I love her statement bold lip. Today, she’s rocking a trendy sportswear-inspired look. Her clean color-blocking is refreshing after a week of a million and one mixed prints.
As Senior Fashion Market Editor at Harper’s Bazaar, she puts her style know-how to excellent use!

Joanna is one of my fashion idols. She always looks so chic and put together, but adds a little cheeky edge to each outfit.
Monochromatic looks really stand out in the color-blocked crowd, especially in crisp white. As Senior Fashion Market Editor at Harper’s Bazaar, Joanna knows her stuff!

Though their styling is night and day, Joanna (who we saw last season) and Zanna seriously complement each other! Zanna’s orange lips are a big beauty trend for fall, as are Joanna’s leopard accessories.
This dynamic duo both work in magazines, Harper’s Bazaar and Marie Claire, respectively. They both agree that vibrant colors and menswear cuts are a must for fall!

Joanna Hillman is channeling a young Jerry Hall with her stunning blond mane, red M·A·C lipstick and wide-leg pants—one of next season’s hottest trends (see them all in the Nordstrom Spring Trend Guide.
Even though she’s the Senior Fashion Editor at Harper’s Bazaar, Joanna says she’s not a “designer snob” and likes to mix high end with low end.
For spring, she says she’s all about the 70′s, but remixed for 2011.
