Andrea is back with yet another gorgeous retro outfit. I always wish I had the coloring to pull of a palette like this, but alas I cannot. I can still appreciate how great this Seventies-inspired, seasonal style looks on Andrea though! A fur-paneled knit jacket marries the top textures of the season and works well with a simple turtleneck and pencil skirt. Andrea is even making me rethink the hip bag. Who knew a fanny pack could look so cool?

This is a look that I would love to be able to emulate. Of course, I’m not sure I have the ineffable cool quotient that Chiara has! There’s something very vintage, and yet premium, about Chiara’s floral knit set and maxi coat. Her tall boots add to the retro appeal. Knit sets are an emerging theme this season, and one I can’t wait to try out.

Sometimes simplicity stands out. Fiona’s minimalist look is understated and lovely. She’s subtly representing the ’70s trend with her flares and loafers, but her sleek white coat is minimalist modern. A chunky knit turtleneck is ultra trendy and the must-have item of the season.

My girl Annie Georgia Greenberg is back on The Thread with another great look. Today’s outfit is all about one of the most popular colors of the year: baby blue. Navy and grey elements give some depth. Wide-leg denim is trending heavily here and this light-washed, high-waisted pair feels both current and vintage. See you in Europe, Annie!

Sofie Valkiers of the popular blog Fashionata has such a fun style sensibility. She likes to add interesting and unique touches to every outfit. I love this statement look that is somehow both bold and laid-back. Belted waists are everything right now and Sofie’s leather wrap belt creates some definition on this voluminous fur coat. A drawstring bag, menswear-inspired hat and turtleneck sweater hit all the right trend notes.

Zanna Roberts Rassi is one of our favorite style stars here on The Thread. She has impeccable taste and a great attitude. Zanna’s shearling-lined modern moto is the perfect jacket for the season, and I love how she’s paired the rustic texture with high shine sequins. A thick, knit turtleneck and killer boots complete this NY chic look.

Lainy Hedaya (Haute Inhabit) is no stranger to our blog, and with good reason: this lady has style for miles! It may have been 5 degrees outside, but that didn’t stop Lainy from breaking out her lace and stilettos. I love the winter lace theme that has started to pop up on the streets. Lainy’s structured blazer and patent heels feel very modern and sharp, while her fringe bag and full skirt add some softer texture.

Hello again, Jillian! Here we have yet another awesome outfit from our master of modern minimalism. I love monochromatic looks and this take on camel tones is perfect for fall!

A chunky knit turtleneck is clearly on the must-have list for the season. Sock statements have been all over the runway and the streets, and Jillian’s rocking a normcore staple in nude. Slouchy clutches have been gaining popularity and this bright blue option is a great hit of color.

No question about it: Margaret Zhang is one of my favorite Fashion Week girls! This blogger (Shine by Three) dresses with a confidence and deftness that belies her years. Still a student, she also manages a successful blog in Australia.

I adore suiting on women, and Margaret’s black and white look is pitch-perfect. I love the contrast, the sleek cut and the relaxed draping of her blouse and blazer. A cool leather backpack is an unexpected but totally clever touch.
