Back again on The Thread, the striking Liz is having a standout sartorial week. The L.A.-based blogger (Late Afternoon) says she’s having an amazing time at FW, despite the roller-coaster weather.

I love a girl in a suit, and Liz’s gorgeous color choice makes the look even better! But it’s not just the suit: From the accessories to her metallic booties, Liz knocked this look out of the park.

As a popular blogger (Fashionata) and stylist, Sofie is no stranger to the camera lens. She is also known for her impeccable taste and sartorial savvy. Her mix of sportswear inspirations and fifties glam is straight off the runway.

While she says her new project is top secret, she has been followed by a television camera crew all week!

Not only was Tina a joy to chat with, but she had just stepped off a plane from Hong Kong—and who looks this amazing after an international flight?! As a fashion editor and blogger, she clearly knows fashion.

Her leather and sheer peplum skirt is both edgy and sweet, and I love the casual denim pairing. I hope we’ll cross paths again!

Here are three things to love: Miu Miu, having tea with Chloë Sevigny and being surrounded by designer shoes. Miu Miu’s Fall/Winter 2012 Behind the Scenes Campaign Video is 61 seconds of bliss.

Those boots and selected styles from Miu Miu Fall/Winter 2012 now available for pre-order.

Seattle’s finest came out for a night of shopping, nibbling and ogling as we previewed fall’s top designer looks on the runway at Pier 91. Check out the attendee outfit snippets we managed to capture between glasses of champagne:

We spotted several Herve Leger signature bandage dresses, and with good reason—they’re ultra-flattering and perfect for cocktail hour.

The party was full of Chanel bags—they were everywhere you turned. It was fun seeing all the variations. (Love the Alexander McQueen scarf too!)

Baby got back…and cutouts are the best way to show it off. The woman on the left is Marguerite Parsley, our Marketing Director of Events, Designer & Cosmetics, wearing an ultrachic Marni dress.

It’s easy to spot Christian Louboutins, but those neon/nude mystery heels are what have us drooling. Anyone know the brand?

Think prints for fall! The Asian-themed floral on the dress at right is oh-so-chic and looks perfect with hot-pink heels.

Hello, little white dresses. They’re short, sweet and simple. You can’t go wrong.

We spy a Louis Vuitton bag and Miu Miu heels!

Feast your eyes on this studded yellow Versace dress from the spring 2012 collection. It’s off-the-hook incredible, and that’s all there is to it.

Valentino on the left and a stunning Roberto Cavalli cape on the right. The ideal fashion sandwich.

An amazing sunset capped off the event. Thanks to all who came out! If you weren’t able to make it to the show, be sure to check out our runway images and see fall’s designer collections in action!

These Miu Miu studded booties have us totally riveted.

It may still be cold—and even snowing—in parts of the U.S. (i.e. Seattle), but that’s not going to stop us from ogling the amazing shoes just released for spring. So long, boots, fur and shearling; hello, sandals, heels and open toes!

We’ll be the first to admit, these spring footwear trends are getting us just a little giddy.

1 – Crafty: Earthy & Woven. Play up your back-to-nature side with heels and wedges decked out in basket weaves, rope details and neutral tones. Make no mistake, the DIY inspirations and hand-hewn details on these shoes are seriously high fashion. [Pictured: Miu Miu Wedge Sandal]

2 – Splashy Glam: Bright & Exaggerated. With electric neons and over-the-top shapes, this footwear trend isn’t for the faint of heart. The only rule of thumb? Go bold, or go home. [Pictured: Reed Krakoff 'Architect' Wedge Sandal]

3 – Charm: Feminine & Playful. Girly goes glam in antique pinks, ankle straps and frou-frou details like bows, ruffles and bitty buttons. [Pictured: MARC BY MARC JACOBS Platform Sandal]

4 – Mid-Century: Mod & Vampy. Take classic, reinvented shapes, ’60s pop and a sultry palette, and you have the recipe for this spring’s alluringly retro heels. [Pictured: Yves Saint Laurent 'Riviera' Sandal]

5 – New Horizons: Neutral & Minimal. Get back to basics with simple straps, wood-grain finishes and elegant silhouettes with an animalistic vibe. It’s desert-chic at its finest. [Pictured: Prada Wood Heel Genuine Python Platform Sandal]

6 – Streamlined: Sleek & Angular. Sandals that look like a Mies van der Rohe ‘less is more’ masterpiece? Yes, please. Look for sharp, architectural shapes in clean black, stark white and lustrous metallic. [Pictured: Diane von Furstenberg 'Elsa' Sandal]
