Street Report: WWWD Duo at Rebecca Minkoff

As editorial and creative directors of one of the Web’s go-to fashion sites, Who What Wear, Hillary and Katherine have some serious style know-how. Hillary’s cat-eye glasses and polka dot dress are playfully retro, while Katherine plays on proportion with an oversize blazer and feminine midi skirt.

One of my favorite things about their look, is that they perfectly complement each other. When I mentioned that, they laughed and said it happens all the time!

Street Report: Olivia at Lincoln Center

Socialite, model, actress, designer—Miss Palermo does it all! Another of Olivia’s accomplishments could easily be her impeccable taste. She is always perfectly poised, put together and ahead of the trends.

Her sheer, subtle animal print is going to be a huge hit this fall, and I love her punchy purple stilettos. Thanks for the inspiration, Olivia!

Street Report: Marina at Rebecca Minkoff

Marina’s blue suede shoes are perfection. And guess what! She designed them, so she knows her shoes.

She says suede and primary colors will be big in footwear this fall, as will saturated jewel tones. Her lace pants, statement necklace and draped blazer are right on target for the season as well.

Street Report: Christina at Carlos Miele

Christina’s gorgeous PS1 bag drew me in like a moth to a neon flame. In town from Boston, where she works for Style Boston TV, Christina is trying to take in as many shows as possible.

She says she loves streamlined, minimalist looks with pops of color. For fall, Christina says she’s going to venture into new territory and try mixing prints and working polka dots into her wardrobe.

Street Report: Megan at Derek Lam

Megan is a stylist who says her collection is ever-expanding, but that she loves Céline and all things fur for fall. I love how she’s taken a preppy tweed blazer and added some rocker edge with her leather leggings and creeper-inspired platforms.

I was so taken with Megan’s outfit that I asked if we could trade! Of course, we didn’t, but I did make a mental shopping list. Burberry, here I come!

Street Report: Tracy & Nicolle at L.A.M.B.

For these sisters, fashion sense is clearly in their genes! Tracy (left) is a trend forecaster and says she is excited to break out her boots and blazers for fall, but that statement jewelry is her favorite new trend.

Nicolle works for the Department of Education as a school psychologist, but she’s thrilled to take a peek into the fashion world. She says her fashion inspiration comes from the city, and that she can’t wait to find the perfect cape for the coming cold weather.

Street Report: Kelly at Lincoln Center

As the well-known fashion blogger behind The Glamourai, Kelly has turned her love of fashion into a lifestyle. She says that the energy of New York is her biggest inspiration, and she can feel fall coming.

Draped coats and capes are on her shopping list. Kelly describes her style as “polished eclectic.” From her cat-eye sunglasses and beaded collar to her half-tucked blouse, she’s matching that description to a T.

Street Report: Juliet, Doreen & Kaven at Lincoln Center

These beautiful ladies are superbly coordinated without looking too matchy-matchy. I love Doreen’s pop of red, and Juliet’s hint of turquoise. Kaven’s snakeskin cigarette pants and her teal button-up are very ’60s lady, while Doreen channels the ’80s working girl.

This trio knows how to play with color, pattern and vintage inspiration to create a striking visual.

Street Report: Jordan at Lincoln Center

I could not believe my ears when Jordan told me that she is a freshman at Columbia. She has the poise and self-confidence of a Fashion Week veteran.

I adore her mixed prints and her T-strap oxford heels. Her crocodile poppy iPad case adds just the right hit of color. Jordan says she aims for “classic modern,” and she can’t wait to wear the leather and fur trends of fall.

Street Report: Brooke Outside Lela Rose

Brooke is a master of color. She chose tones that work for her, and the end result is sophisticated and casually elegant. Her slim, high-waist trousers are a fall must-have, and her accessories are perfectly balanced.

As an editor for Sotheby’s Artful Living Magazine, she says she is inspired by interior design. Brooke had to run to her next show, but she called out in parting that the Nordstrom shoe department is one of her favorite places to shop!
