This festival season, we were shoegazing even when the music wasn’t. In the process, we collected images of some of the coolest footwear from Coachella and Governors Ball. It’s a thing we like to do.

Gala Gonzalez is yet another amazing blogger (AMLUL) whom I love to style stalk. She has an air of understated cool that is compelling. Today’s look is unique, but feels subdued at the same time. I love a woman in a hat, especially one with such sleek lines. A full-cut dress, layered with a textural blouse, has retro gothic appeal.

Now here’s what I was waiting for at Dolce&Gabbana! It wouldn’t be Milan without some sex appeal. Tasia stopped everyone in their tracks with this red-hot ensemble. Red is a trending color, and I love that Tasia went full-on bold with it. This is definitely a statement look, but there are elements of classic, feminine styling to balance out the sexiness.

The blog star behind We Wore What, Danielle Bernstein, is consistently on trend. This ’70s-inspired number has a hint of springtime boho, but still feels modern. The light, airy dress works with her heavy, textural camel coat, while her accessories amp up the seventies appeal. And those lace-up boots are a must have!

Street Report: Dasha Outside Balmain

The Balmain show was absolutely bananas. There were a million people running around and the energy level was at a fever pitch. Luckily, Dasha and I found a tiny space of calm amidst the screaming fans and honking cars. Dasha’s look is modern and sporty, but with a balancing dose of femininity. Her bright leather crop top is amazing, and I like that Dasha added some vibrant color to her look. The sleek lines are simply chic. Love that slouchy clutch, too!

I am obsessed with stripes, so Andrea’s nautical look is right up my alley. Her sleek, simple set has clean lines and a great sheen. A statement necklace and killer bag are the perfect balance to her modern sailor stripes. That said, a genuine smile and awesome attitude are really the best accessories at Fashion Week. Thanks for making my day, Andrea!

Bev’s modern lady look is pitch-perfect with the season. Her oversized gingham mohair sweater is beyond covetable and is well paired with a simple full skirt.

Londoners love creative footwear, and Bev’s blocked heels are modern and quirky chic. Add in a simple white clutch and you’ve got yourself a winning look!

Hello again, Jacey! One thing (among many!) that I like about Jacey’s style is that she keeps it simple. She wears chic, of-the-moment looks without going overboard on trends, flashy brands or accessories.

Today’s black-and-white print look is modern, urban and feminine. Add a bright Chanel purse and you’ve got me hooked.

Get the most out of the black blazer you have hanging up in that closet—it’s a secret weapon of versatility that can be layered onto almost anything. Check out these 5 looks Sole Society put together with pieces from Nordstrom, and get inspired!

Speaking of inspiration, we’re loving these four trends from the video. They’re totally right for fall.

A structured handbag. This Diane von Furstenberg lovely makes for a bright pop of color, but we’re also craving duo-tones as well as graphic and exotic prints on handbags.

Patterned pants. Speaking of prints, they’re still all over pants this fall (Rachel Zoe pictured) and looking best when just a little quirky and boldly mixed with other patterns.

Contrast collars. Add a little unexpected flare to that button-down with contrasting collars, plackets and cuffs. The snake-print trim on that Equipment shirt definitely has our attention.

Graphic skirts. An overarching trend on everything from handbags to dresses, but bold graphics on skirts is an eye-catching way (and flattering—see that Jason Wu contrasting panel number) to update a wardrobe staple.
