Former model, Harper’s Bazaar fashion editor and celebrity stylist—and forever style icon—Linda Rodin turned to experimenting with essential oils in her bathroom 10 years ago. She wanted to come up with something she couldn’t find on the market—a product that was simple, luxurious and provided immediate results, that hydrated skin while leaving her complexion luminous. She succeeded in creating Rodin Olio Lusso face oil—the first in her current collection of beauty products, perfumes and candles.
We’re excited to offer Rodin’s original Olio Lusso, with its blend of 11 floral and botanical essential oils, as well as her newest lavender oil—along with a number of other luxury beauty items from her line. We spent some time chatting with Rodin about her new products, keeping things simple, and her secret to looking so naturally beautiful without a touch of makeup—apart from her signature lip.
Think back. How many Lip Smacker flavors did you hoard in the front pocket of your JanSport? Like, a lot, right? Before you wander too far down that path back to Lisa Frank and your favorite Trapper Keepers, we’d like to introduce you to the grown-up (but kid at heart) Lancôme Juicy Shakers. Available in 20 pretty shades—each with its own flavor—these are as fun to collect as all that school-days lip balm, only pulling one of these adorable cocktail-shaker-shaped beauties out of your handbag won’t damage your cred while you’re adulting.
Bobbi Brown is a woman who needs no introduction, so let’s jump right into our recent interview with this much-adored beauty mogul as she shares her expertise, tips and tricks, a delicious (and simple!) summer soup recipe and so much more.
What’s the best beauty advice you’ve ever been given? Bobbi Brown: My mother taught me that confidence is true beauty.
As a person who loves healthy food, what things do you find yourself going back to this summer? Even better, do you have a favorite recipe you could share? My three-step soup on my blog, Everything Bobbi, is perfect for summer as it’s easy and works well with whatever veggies you have on hand.
Another summer favorite is my Coconut Kale Shake. I make it using coconut milk, cocoa powder, chia seeds, chocolate protein powder, frozen organic banana, frozen organic cherries and, of course, kale. It’s great for breakfast or as a midday snack.
