Tracy Reese on Michelle Obama’s DNC Dress

First Lady Michelle Obama was stunning and sophisticated as usual last week during her speech at the Democratic National Convention.

This week, some of our buyers met with the designer behind the dress–Tracy Reese–who gave them the inside scoop on the gorgeous silk-and-linen jacquard Mrs. Obama wore (and complemented with grey nails and pink heels).

For more Tracy Reese, see our coverage of her spring/summer 2013 runway show.

I thought this dress was perfection – one of the prettiest I have ever seen. Congratulations to Tracy Reese and Mrs. Obama. :)

The dress is very beautiful and I immediately went online to find the designer. I will be getting this dress sometime this month. I don’t splurge, but I really liked this dress. The flagship store had a similar dress to this one and it is also very beautiful. Mrs. Obama is always radiant and she’s such a wonderful woman. I am glad to see that Tracy Reese’s dress is a hit.
