Keep reading for advice from Hollywood blogger Shea Marie of Peace Love Shea, a pro stylist and lover of leather jackets who wants you to take her on vacation. You’re speaking our language, Shea.

What would be your ideal date night for Valentine’s Day 2014?
“At this point I’ll take any date I can get! Somehow I’m always single on Valentine’s Day. This year I’ll be in NYC for Fashion Week on Valentine’s Day, so my date might be Karl Lagerfeld or Marc Jacobs—not so bad, I’d say!”
[Top right: custom cookies. Bottom right: swimming with wild pigs. Yes, really.]
What would you like to see your Valentine wear during your date?
“A man’s sense of style is extremely important to me. He has to create a perfect balance—like he knows what he’s doing, but also that he didn’t try. I don’t know exactly how to describe it, but I know it when I see it! I’m more on the casual side for a guy—a good leather jacket and Converse are a must.”
What would you love to receive as a Valentine’s gift?
“I’ve never been one for extravagant gifts—I guess I’m a cheap date! I feel awkward taking something really nice from someone. I’d much prefer it to be something thoughtful and personalized. Or a vacation—I’d never say no to vacation!”
