You’re a bride, and it’s time to pick out bridesmaid dresses. Your first thought is “How do I make all of my ladies happy?!” You want to find a dress that flatters everyone, right? Of course you do!

The good news is that more and more designers are getting creative when it comes to dressing a full bridal party. This is one reason (just one of many!) why we love Jenny Yoo and her convertible dresses.

At first glance, this seems to be a gorgeous pleated strapless chiffon dress, but look closer. This dress is designed with long panels that can be artfully wrapped and tied over the bodice to create a variety of elegant looks. How many looks are we talking about? Here’s a snapshot of 18 (yes, EIGHTEEN) different ways to wear this dress:

Now, you may be saying to yourself, “Well, that’s great, but I’m not a designer, and don’t know how to tie all those different knots and drapes.” Thankfully, Ms. Yoo herself has created this video for our site to show you how it’s done (and your Wedding Stylist can also help!).

This convertible wonder comes in both a long version (‘Aidan’) AND a short version (‘Keira’). We’re partial to the longer version right now, but we would love to see a bridal party mix and match them. Try it!

So, if bridesmaid #4 complains that a dress just doesn’t work for her body type, show her one of these styles and get creative! Jenny Yoo dresses can also be special ordered in our suites in sizes over 16. Our free Wedding Stylists are happy to help with making sure all your girls get the right style!

One song. One dance floor. One hundred Nordstrom employees.  Two hip-hop stars.

If you think this sounds like the makings for a rockin’ party, we’d have to agree. And while it may have started at 9 a.m. instead of 9 p.m. (and was technically considered work!), we had a really, really, really good time. There’s nothing better than filming a wedding dance video with your friends and co-workers—except when Macklemore & Ryan Lewis make a cameo appearance to lend some well-dressed style and hot moves to the scene!

Now go behind the scenes to see the making of the video and get a glimpse into the Best. Day. Ever.

Oh, and did we mention there was a photo booth on set? We had so much fun hamming it up for the camera, we just had to make a lookbook out of the shots! Check out our employees modeling looks from our wedding suites here!

Haven’t seen the full video yet? Don’t miss it! You can watch it here.

You know that moment at a wedding, after all the romantic words have been said, glasses have been raised, the cake has been cut, and finally, everyone—from the bride and groom to Grandma and Grandpa—is on the dance floor getting down. Music is pumping, shoes are kicked off, hips are shaking, hands are in the air, the maid of honor is showing off her moonwalk, Uncle Bob is breaking out the robot…

The Nordstrom Weddings team loves that moment of energy and joy on the dance floor. We want to celebrate like that every day with our friends and family! So, we thought we’d bring the best wedding dance party to life.

We got our official dance squad (aka: our own employees with some serious moves) to rock out to a track we’re sure will be the next wedding anthem: “And We Danced” by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis—who just happened to do a little rocking out themselves in a special cameo appearance.

The result? You’ll have to see it for yourself!

We had brides-to-be, married couples and single ladies and guys all dressed up in our favorite big day looks—including new wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses from our Wedding Suites.

We also want to say a special CONGRATS to Macklemore and his new fiancée! We’re so excited for the happy couple—and we totally offer to send our dance squad to his wedding. We have a feeling that would be a dance party for the record books!

Warning: The following ridiculously creative videos of guys proposing to their ladies are probably best watched with some tissues at the ready. We may or may not have already gone through half a box as we scoured the internet for new and old best wedding proposal videos.

We think these should be requisite viewing material for anyone thinking of popping the question. After all, what’s one of the most-asked questions of new brides-to-be? It’s: “How did he propose.” Here are a handful of our favorite, inspiring proposal stories–they’re high bars to match and worth every minute of watching.

A snowy mountain scene and time-lapse filming make for one short, but very sweet engagement story.

We predict big things for this new gem posted just last month.

Over 17 million views, and we can see why; it’s definitely worth watching again and again.

Another lip-dub proposal…plus about 500 friends and a classic beach setting.

A proposal in the middle of a Glee-style flashmob just across from our very own Seattle Flagship Store.

Scavenger hunts are a popular way to propose…this is a good example of why.

A holiday-theme proposal complete with a Christmas tree park, a thoughtful groom-to-be and one excited pup.

One creative guy’s stop-motion film proposal. Who knew crayons could be so romantic?

Our congratulations to all the happy couples. After proposals like this, we can only imagine what’s in store for their wedding day!

We melt over a good anything-to-do-with-weddings story, and you’re looking at Jason’s way of getting down on one knee for Kelly. She said yes, of course—this is just dripping with romance.
