Grey Wedding Inspiration

The color grey may have gotten a bad rep in the past for being a gloomy color, but we think it’s anything but! In fact, grey is often our favorite neutral, as it pairs perfectly with so many other colors and can be dressed up or down. (Plus, we all know how many different shades there are, right?!)

Not only is this color trending for bridesmaid dresses—note the light, airy styles below—but it’s also having a major moment in men’s suits. Many grooms opt for grey over traditional black for a slightly less formal look. And just like yellow, grey against a white wedding dress is clean, modern combination.

Another of-the-moment touch: jewelry that incorporates iridescent grey stones set in gold. Gorgeous!

My color scheme was grey, peach, blush, ivory and touches of butter yellow…it turned out beautiful! Our cake was 3 shades of grey with a peach decorative flower in the front….my husband wore a linen grey suit from J. Crew, and my bridesmaids wore a light grey dress. The rest of the accessories brought out the color and it was less formal but still looked clean, elegant, and fun!
