Behind the Scenes: kate spade new york Fall 2014

studio-N

While I was in New York, I had the opportunity to go to Studio N in SoHo and watch the shoot for the kate spade new york fall/winter editorial. I’ve been on set for a couple of other photo shoots, but I must say that this one was by far my favorite. The styling team had amazing energy, and the photographer and model were in perfect harmony. Plus I’m a big kate spade new york fan. (I mean, who isn’t?)

Here are a few behind-the-scenes shots:

Of course the stylists had all the looks picked out prior to the shoot. I love the little red cocktail dress with the bow detail—it will be perfect for the holiday season.

There were oodles of accessories everywhere. So many shiny things!

Oh, and there were acres of shoes, too. Talk about every girl’s idea of heaven.

After hours of prep, it’s finally time to shoot.

The model totally embodied the kate spade new york attitude: ultra feminine and little spunky.

I loved this look because it’s very winter, but the palette is still light and fresh.

A big thanks to all the beautiful people at Studio N who let me look over their shoulders and took the time to answer all my silly questions. 🙂

XOXO,
Alyssa

    Hi Alyssa!
Your posts are amazing and so fun to read!
I am really interested in all things fashion and I want to be apart on the Bp. Fashion Board next year. I was wondering if you had any tips or recommendations for me or other readers?
That pale pink purse is SO pretty!

Thanks girls! And as far as the fashion board, they basically accept everyone who applies! To make the most of your experience, ask lots of questions and stay on top of your fashion board “homework”. I’m definitely an opportunist, so I was always on the look out for fun extra things I could do, and that’s how I ended up on the blog! 🙂
