Sunny weather and all-day outings are just around the corner! Whether you’re on a day-trip to the beach or jaunt to the farmer’s market, you’ll need a handy catch-all for everything you need to take with you. So with that in mind, may we present the pineapple tote:
tri-coastal pineapple print tote | $12
Why we love it:
The playful print. Need we say more? We love the quirky pineapples on this tote. They’re fun, super cute, and we love how they add an instant tropical vibe.
The cotton canvas. No need to worry about how you treat this bag. The canvas is super durable, so you can stuff it full of essentials or fold it up when it isn’t in use. Get splashed by the pool? No worries, it’ll dry like it never happened.
The size. Not too small, not too big…juuuuust right.
I love to use minimal, versatile pieces as the foundation of my wardrobe. I often find that if I buy a simple dress, I can accessorize it in a variety of ways and it becomes almost unrecognizable with each new twist.
For example, here is a simple navy dress:
JS Boutique Strapless Ruched Chiffon Gown
Look 1: Edgy
For an edgy look, I would wear ear cuffs or ear crawlers. They lend a subtle edge factor without committing to something totally out there, like a crazy statement necklace.
Topshop Rhinestone Ear Cuff| BaubleBar ‘Zelda’ Ear Crawlers
Look 2: Feminine and Flirty
For a feminine, flirtatious look I would accessorize with jewelry that has color in it—maybe even with a floral motif.
BP. Fan Statement Necklace | BP. Fringed Statement Necklace
Look 3: Boho
For a boho look, I would accessorize with a lot of layers. Texture is your friend when it comes to the ’70s-retro trend.

I hope I gave you some good ideas to polish your prom look to perfection.
Recently, wearing a matching set or two-piece has become a major trend. Lily Collins and Taylor Swift are two celebrities who are well known for wearing a two-pieces to red carpet events.
This year Sherri Hill has been the main brand (that I’ve noticed) to really commit to designing two-pieces for glamorous events. Here are two of my favorites:
If you have a more girly and flirtatious style, I would totally tell you to rock this awesome chiffon, “tu-tu esque” maxi skirt with the matching embellished top.
Sherri Hill: Embellished Crop Tank & Chiffon Skirt
If you have a more edgy and boho style, like myself, this slick maxi skirt and detailed, embellished top are a great choice.

Festival season has begun! Now whether you find yourself in the desert or basking in the fresh springtime air, we think this cold-shoulder blouse is a wardrobe essential.
soprano cold shoulder blouse | $36
Why we love it:
The paisley print. The muted hues and small paisleys give this top some instant boho style. Perfect for an outdoor concert, art festival or just lounging in the backyard.
The cold-shoulder cutouts. Come on, how cute are they? We love that you can show off some peekaboo skin without going too far.
The breezy fit. There’s something about the loose fit of this top that has us anxious to be outside. It’s light and kind of romantic—not to mention super comfortable. Enjoy!
Starry summer nights, endless dancing, and magic everywhere… From SXSW to Coachella to Outside Lands, festival season is here.
I’ll definitely be dropping some more festival outfit posts…but for now, here’s a few things every gal should bring for festival days ahead. Even if you’re not heading to Bonnaroo, these items are perfect for any spring and summer festivities.
1. Statement Bags
Tote | Backpack | Crossbody
Whether its a tote, purse, or backpack, one thing’s for sure: You’ll need something to put all your other necessities in. Why not opt for a festive one?
Now we get to the things:
2. SUNSCREEN. LIPBALM. MOISTURIZER. (Caps because this stuff is important!)
Sunscreen Lotion | Zinc Oxide | Chapstick
3. A Pair of Sunnies
1 | 2 | 3 | 4
4. A Floppy Hat
1 | 2 | 3
Ok, yup, I’ve definitely just listed all the things you’ll need to protect yourself from the sun…all the stylish things, at least. 😉

We don’t know about you guys, but spring break has us itching for sunny weather and no work (er, school!). That means long days spent outdoors, our favorite sunnies and ice cream.
rip curl chevron maxi dress | $69.50
What we love:
The chevron print. Not only are chevrons right on trend, but the way the lines are placed on this particular dress is super flattering. It works to elongate your figure, which is just what we want in a maxi!
The strapless neckline. It’s so summery and elegant, too. We love how the absence of straps brings attention to your face and adds a little bit of flirty style.
The strappy back details. This might be our favorite part: The tiny crisscrossed straps over the back cutout instantly add that extra bit of style we love in a dress like this. It goes from simple maxi to stunner.
If you can’t tell already, we could not be more excited for spring. It’s such a fun chance to embrace our feminine sides—just like this little camisole has done!
scalloped camisole | $34
What we love:
The scalloped edges. The wavy trim on this camisole is just the sweetest detail. We love that something as simple as curvy lines can take a simple camisole and make it cute and feminine.
The crepe fabric. Made from stretch-cotton crepe, this camisole is perfectly lightweight and airy. It’ll be perfect for hot summer days, plus you can easily layer a sweater over it until then.
The loose shape. We also love that this camisole isn’t too tight. It’s just the right shape to give you that comfortable, effortlessly-chic style.
Spring has arrived, and guess what else has? Festival season—a time for culture, music and, of course, fashion. Festival fashion is so unique because there really aren’t any rules, except the mandate to express yourself. Wear layers, mix patterns and just have fun with style.
1. Boho Kimono
A fringed kimono screams “festival fashion.” Pair it with a lace bralette, acid-washed denim shorts and combat boots, then top it all off with gold accent jewelry. Kimonos are great because they’re super versatile. For instance, if you want something a little more modest than a bralette, you can throw on a plain tee or a plain camisole and you’ll still look amazing.
Fringe Kimono | Boots | Bralette | Shorts | Necklace | Bracelet | Earrings
2. Flowery Festive
Love patterns and textures? Go old-school boho with a lace bralette and printed pants, topped off with a seriously fringed bag.
Lace Bralette | Sandals | Flare Leg Pants | Crossbody Bag
3. The Golden Girl
You can never go wrong with simplicity and a touch of gold. You could get lost in this mini dress, but lace cut-outs keep it flirty and feminine. A gold headband, matching clutch and layered necklace complete the look.
Mini Dress | Gladiator Sandal | Clutch | Headband | Necklace
Festival fashion is all about being yourself, so don’t be afraid to break fashion rules or incorporate unique elements into your look. Have a great time at whatever festivals you’re attending this spring—and even if you’re not hitting the festival circuit, be different with your fashions and try these looks out.
For a company that began as a shoe store, we don’t talk about shoes nearly enough around here (or at least on this blog). That, combined with spring’s official arrival, meant we couldn’t help but highlight these adorable floral sandals.
BP. ‘Luminate’ Open Toe Sandal | $59.95
What we love:
The floral print. We love the soft floral print on these sandals—it’s perfect for spring and summer, and it adds a little bit of feminine flair to the otherwise simple design.
The slender ankle strap. This little ankle strap is so on-trend right now. It emphasizes the minimalist design of the shoe, not to mentions it’s super functional. Say goodbye to walking out of your shoes!
The classic heel height. The heel is about 3 inches high—very chic. It’ll give you a sophisticated, classic look without being so high that it’s hard to walk in.
But if you’re averse to heels, we also love these floral flats. Happy spring!
BP. ‘Moreover’ Pointy Toe Flat | $49.95
The official first day of spring is March 20—just around the corner! You’ve probably noticed that we can’t wait to break out flowy fabrics and lighter colors, but we’re especially eager when it comes to these printed pants.
lush ‘perfect’ woven pants | $38
Why we love them:
The boho print. A few different prints are mixed together on these pants, creating a cool neo-bohemian look. The busyness of the prints and the geometric inspiration makes for a super-cool design.
The loose cut. We really like the loose-fitting tapered silhouette of these pants. It gives you that easy, breezy aura without overwhelming you with too much fabric.
The pockets. Because, come on—pockets make everything better.
