I have said in previous posts how Sundays are my makeup-free day and that I usually run all my errands for the week on that day. Here is this week’s errand outfit—it was only in the 70s so I went for ripped jeans by BLANKNYC with a simple jersey tank.
When it came time to accessorize, I chose my go-tos for running errands: black Nike Roshes and my Harvard baseball hat. I have also been loving the backpack trend and it makes running around for errands so much easier than carrying a purse.

Anyone who knows me is quite aware that I am utterly obsessed with Free People. I absolutely love everything about this brand and their versatility throughout the seasons. I recently got this cobalt blue coverup by Free People and now it’s my must have for the beach or pool.
I’ve been coveting pretty much everything Free People has been coming out with lately, but some of my favorites are this multi-colored T-Shirt Dress (so cool and funky!) and this fun and flirty classic Lace Tunic.
Happy 4th of July! This holiday always seems to be the summit of summer. It’s a perfect summer day filled with barbecuing, swimming, APPLE PIE and a whole lot of red, white and blue.
This is probably the most un-American thing to do, but it just so happens that I’m flying to the UK today. Sorry ‘Merica ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Regardless, if I was staying here in Cali, this is what I would wear to eat delicious food and watch fireworks.

Happy 4th, everyone!

It’s a week night and you’re up, ready to spend some coins, so you go surfing on Nordstrom.com–but what to buy? I have you covered with my top five summer essentials for men. These items will help you conquer a stylish summer!
The Rail short sleeve poplin woven shirt
On my previous OOTD Post I wore a shirt similar in style and received many compliments on it. I love the patterns that this one from The Rail has available as well.
Herschel Supply Co. Retreat backpack
Now summer is all about travel right?? Travel in style with this Herschel Supply Co. backpack. I love the vintage feel of the bag and it’s the perfect size for leisure.
TOMS Bellini sunglasses
Protect your eyes from the summer sun with these TOMS sunglasses. TOMS eyewear is always very modern yet classic. I am a proud TOMS eyewear connoisseur [thanks, Nordstrom HQ ;)] and I must say that their shades are quite comfortable–they don’t slide off or feel heavy on your face.
TOMS Chukka Boot
Chukka boots are honestly everything! I love how versatile they are in the sense that you can throw on jeans and a t-shirt or a button down and khakis and your outfit still looks well put together both ways. The comfort level is astonishing as well!
Topman Straw Hat
I love how a straw hat can change the whole vibe of your outfit and I particularly love the leather strap around this hat. This is one of my favorite styles of hats because it’s simple yet adds another dimension to your look.
So there you have it, my top 5 summer essentials. Which ones are your favorite?
Besides dresses, one of my favorite articles of clothing has always been jumpers, especially Wildfox jumpers. They are SO extremely comfy, cute, and the perfect item to throw on when keepin’ it casual.
When you feel the quality of fabric and the effortless style these pieces add to any outfit, you’ll want to buy one for every day of the week! I own three jumpers, some I’ve had for years, and they hold up extremely well, especially considering the countless number of times I’ve worn them.
These are two jumpers I’m currently lusting after. This pineapple one is absolutely adorbs and perfect for summer with it’s fun and flirty fruit pattern, and of course being that I live in California, this pink Cali sweater is a MUST!
Tropical Fruits V-neck pullover | Live Under the Rainbow oversize sweatshirt
We have finally reached the last look in my concert outfit series. This look is perfect if you’re planning on attending a rap or R & B concert.
I love the way this casual tee and burgundy leather skirt complement each other, giving off a fun, sporty vibe.
I figured since this outfit is for a rap concert, I’ve got to have some chains on, am I right!? Haha : )
Converse add to the whole sporty feel. Black ruffle socks add my own girly, personal touch.
Am I the only one who pretty much associates everything about country music with summertime? And since summer is coming, of course I had to throw a country music look into my concert outfit series.
I got a red, white and blue flannel, a red bandana, oh, and, of course, an American flag. Can you say #’Merica? Haha!
Silly faces for the camera! I’d also just finished drinking a large coffee, so that probably had something to do with it, too…
If you’re planning on going to any country concerts, I highly recommend slipping on some shorts and comfy shoes.
Being comfy makes it much easier to dance your butt off and twirl ’til the sun goes down.
Check back this Saturday for the final post in this series. Hope you’re enjoying it so far!
Welcome to the second installment in my concert outfit series, in which I’ll show you how to dress for *drum roll, please*…festivals! Now, I know Coachella is over (merp), but there are seriously so many festival-type concerts during the summer that you still have plenty of time to rock this look.
For this look, I immediately gravitated towards this stunning Free People dress. From its many tiers to its intricate lace, I’ve been loving this li’l number. It’s perfect for twirling around in while jamming out to your fave tunes.
While attending any festival, flower crowns are a must. And, of course, I have on all my Alex and Ani bangles. #stacksonstacks
These blue booties make a fun and funky statement while still being comfortable enough for all the walking around you can expect to do.
Like always, I hope you enjoyed. Stay tuned for looks number three and four!
I love dressing up on and going to brunch with my closest friends at a cute restaurant or cafe. Sadly, because of everyone’s busy schedules we don’t get around to it very often, but when we do, I like to wear my Sunday best. 🙂
In my first look, I let the pattern do all the talking and paired my dress with simple heels.
Lush Lace Trim Pleated Skater Dress | Steve Madden ‘Stecy’ Sandal
For my second look, I added a fur vest as a fun, boho accessory. Neutral heels keep the focus on my clothes, instead of competing for attention.
Lush Dress (sold out!) | BP. ‘Mallory’ Ankle Strap Pump
So summer is quickly approaching *praise* and I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve noticed that concerts seem to be popping up here, there and everywhere for the summertime. So I decided to put together four different looks that will hopefully help you out if you’re planning on attending any concerts this summer. (I’m totally jealous if you are, haha!)
This look was inspired by the many pop concerts coming up: Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift (my homegirl), 5SOS, etc. Pop music is fun and upbeat, just like this outfit. If you’re planning on going to a summer concert, remember to just have fun with your outfit.
This blush pink jacket is the perfect mix of edgy and girly and funky, and I’ve been completely LOVING it lately. Also, mixing prints is always fun—just remember to keep it in the same color scheme like, the black stripes in my top and black in my skirt.
blush jacket (not the same one, but similar) | striped tee | floral skirt
Ooooo, girl, this pic is poppin’. Get it? Ballons? Popping? No? Okay, then. 🙂
Another thing I’ve been loving is this pair of Jeffrey Campbell shoes I found at a thrift store. I mean, seriously, they look brand new! You could say I’m pretty much obsessed with them.
Hope you guys enjoyed this post. Stay tuned for the other concert outfits coming soon!
