Ah, New Year’s resolutions… Whether it’s keeping fit, eating healthy or actually paying attention in math class, we all have some kind of adjustment we’d like to make in 2015. Two of my resolutions are: finding a better way to manage my time, and also make time to be more creative.
Here’s what you’ll need to succeed at keeping any resolution:
– Will power and motivation
– An agenda/planner/notebook to stay on top of resolutions (I mean, a super cute notebook never hurt nobody, right?)
It’s called time management, gurl.
Ugh, I guess you can call me Queen Procrastinator. Do you tend to lag, too? Say it’s Wednesday and you have an essay due next Monday. So you leave it until the weekend. No, worse, what if you leave it until late Sunday night? Well, this year I’m trying to ditch the rationalization, “Oh, I work better under pressure with limited time,” and I’m going to try get the job done early. And, hey, if I get things done ASAP, that gives me more time for my next resolution.
Let’s get artsy
This year I’m making a promise to myself to be more creative. I want to fill any moment of boredom with doodles, paintings and DIY projects. I’d love to learn and try new things in the art world, like block printing or screen printing. Any artists out there care to share some techniques or new art ideas? 🙂
To help me stay motivated, why not show y’all some of my random art works?

I’d love to hear what your New Year’s resolutions are! And no matter what they are, I believe in you! 🙂
