Two Proms, Two Prom Looks

Alas, prom season for me has come to an end. This year I was lucky enough to attend two proms, one with my best friend at her school and my own school’s prom. I used this rare opportunity to style two completely different prom night looks!

For my best friend Sage’s prom, I decided to go Old Hollywood with my look. To complement my bright red dress and classic black pumps, I did my hair in big curls and darkened my brows a little bit. Sage sported a vintage brocade dress with matching orange leather pumps and styled her hair away from her face so it wouldn’t get in the way when she was dancing.

For my own prom, I decided to rock a short pastel purple frock with my all-time favorite chunky black sandals. If you’re still looking for a prom dress, I definitely recommend this one: it’s flirty and such a fun color, plus it’s easy to dance in!

My first two prom experiences were absolute blasts. I loved going without a date because it totally took the pressure off and I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way. Prom is about dancing and having fun, and that’s exactly what I did with my favorite gal pals. I hope everyone has a wonderful time at their prom, date or no date. 🙂

xoxo,
Clare
