Summer Recipe: Fruity Bowls

If one thing’s for sure this summer, it’s that temperatures are rising. Here in Cali, I mean seriously R I S I N G–I’m not about that 100-degree weather!

To keep cool this summer, I’ll be posting some yummy and refreshing recipes.

Today’s post is a super-easy summer fruit bowl. Açai bowls have been huge this year, and this bowl is nearly identical. All you have to do is replace the açai with any of your favorite homemade smoothies (or go straight for the antioxidant packed açai)!


– Any fresh fruit
– Granola
– Any smoothie OR frozen acai
– Optional toppings: chia seeds, almonds, coconut, etc.

The smoothie recipe I used:

– Vanilla yogurt
– Ice
– Fresh strawberries
– Fresh peaches

Put it all together, and you’ve got a simple summer bowl! I also find it quite fun to decorate the top of the bowl with lots of fresh fruit.
