Just because the season is coming to an end doesn’t mean you have to stop wearing all your favorite summer clothes at once. In fact, I’d say you should wear them as long as you can—soon enough it will be time to start layering for the cold.
Tees | Shorts | Platform sandals
Clare (pictured here) and I are all about sticking to a neutral aesthetic when it comes to a go-to outfit. The weather this day was just warm enough for shorts but not too hot for a comfy tee. Plus, her chunky sandals are both fashionable and comfortable for walking around town.
So, last night was really a “Moment 4 Life.” Seriously, the Nicki Minaj concert was AMAZING! On top of that, I waited three hours to meet her. (I still can’t even believe it all happened, tbh.)
As the school year slowly approaching us, so is cooler weather. For some of you, this might include more layers; for others, you might have sun all year round. Either way, I hope this look gives you guys some inspiration for the cooler weather that’s to come!
Baseball Hat | Tank | Jeans | Flannel | Vans
In this look, I decided to tie my flannel around my waist since it was pretty warm out, with a lightweight tank and comfy jeans. I wore a baseball hat for both style and sun protection, and added Vans—a nice shoe to walk around in.
I think everyone can agree that in the midst of summer, we tend to spend more time outdoors. While I definitely enjoy typical outdoor summer activities like swimming and hiking, one of my favorite pastimes is spending time in the garden.
Inspired by just that, today’s outfit is perfect for sipping tea in the garden or attending a daytime soiree. The boots add just a touch of edge.

Hello from the UK!
While I’m sure it’s quite warm in the states this summer, it’s a bit chilly over here in England. For any of you traveling to colder climates or for those random gloomy summer days, here’s a simple outfit for staying comfortable.
Jeans | Top | Jacket | Sandals
On these kinds of days (this day was particularly windy–hence the crazy hair), I still like to dress “summery” by wearing sandals and loose tops. On the other hand, it’s also a good idea to be prepared for the weather by covering up with a pair of jeans and a denim jacket.

Summer calls for simple, easy outfits that don’t require a lot of thinking. This is the very reason why I love rompers and dresses, because your whole outfit is in one clothing item. I picked up this romper from the Topshop section at my local Nordstrom and I am totally in love with it.
Romper | Mules | Hoops
I kept with the essentials theme by pairing the romper with some silver hoops and black heeled mules. To show off my hoops, I pulled my hair back in a half-up.
I’m wearing my current favorite lipstick, ‘Whirl’ by M·A·C, and filled my brows in with ‘Faint’ from the Naked Basics Palette.
I love relaxing on Sundays, but boredom often strikes and I find myself with the urge to go out. This past weekend, I headed over to the local flea market–I wasn’t looking for anything in particular, but was more interested in seeing whatever caught my eye. It was a lovely day filled with sunshine and lots of vintage goodies!
From Polaroid cameras to teacups and shabby chic decor, here are a few antique items that caught my eye.
OOTD: It happened to be one of those days when it’s pretty chilly in the shade but then super hot in the sun. To stay comfortable I wore skinny jeans, a striped tee and black booties.

Happy 4th of July! This holiday always seems to be the summit of summer. It’s a perfect summer day filled with barbecuing, swimming, APPLE PIE and a whole lot of red, white and blue.
This is probably the most un-American thing to do, but it just so happens that I’m flying to the UK today. Sorry ‘Merica ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Regardless, if I was staying here in Cali, this is what I would wear to eat delicious food and watch fireworks.

Happy 4th, everyone!

This summer I don’t have any plans to take extravagant trips to places around the world. But that doesn’t mean I can’t dress like I’m traveling in a different country.
Embroidered Dresses | Similar Style
This dress makes me think of Greece and the amazing landscape they have along the Ionian and Mediterranean Seas. I let the dress be my main focus with the amazing embroidery detail, and paired it with a neutral beige in my sandals and purse. I put my hair in a half-up bun and wore M·A·C Lipstick in ‘Whirl’ on my lips.
I rarely shop bright colors and usually stick to neutral earthy tones. My closet is full of blacks, whites, lots of creamy colors and a whole lot of denim. I practically live in jeans, so I guess you could call today’s OOTD a classic “Amber” outfit!
Sweater | Jeans
Here I wore a dark-wash pair of high-waisted jeans with a peplum cami. Sticking with the neutral palette, I slipped on a long, tea-colored cardigan.
Camisole | Layered Necklaces
I’m in love with this Frenchi peplum cami. It has the daintiest lace fabric and is perfect for summer. Obviously I went for this ivory color, but there’s also black, seafoam and pink!
