Top 3 Zone Zella Picks from a Zella PRO
’Twas the season to indulge, friends, but now ’tis the season to atone. Throughout the month of January, we’ll be bringing you all sorts of Wellness Realness—information and inspiration you can use to get out of lax mode and into good-for-you mode. Or at least stop eating cookies for lunch and skipping your morning run.
The best thing to happen to your new year since New Year’s Eve is Zone Zella. In Seattle, Bellevue, Dallas, San Francisco Centre, Tysons Corner Center, Oakbrook, Garden State Plaza and King of Prussia, you’ll find a whole world-within-a-world: an ultra-vibrant universe aimed at getting you in exclusive Nordstrom gear that looks good and can help you look even better.
In the eight cities listed here as well as online, we’re blowing out the best exercise looks for men, women and girls as Zone Zella celebrates strength, wellness, courage, power and style throughout the month of January.
Also this month: free yoga inside our Zella offerings. Don’t miss the scoop on that at the end of this post. But first: as part of the Seattle kickoff to this month-long event, local Zella PRO and yoga teacher Vanessa Garibaldi gave us the inside track on her three favorite Zella pieces before chatting with us about her philosophy, and then leading a crew through a special TGIF set of moves.
First up: the Nice Reflections jacket. “I would wear this to look awesome,” Garibaldi told us before clarifying, “not just to work out.” Got it. But it’s worth noting that the reflective fibers in the cool gray panels mean you’ll be seen on morning and evening runs—or, you know, when you’re just out being awesome in the dark.
And to go under it: Electric blue leggings with of-the-moment mesh inserts. “It’s important to look good to feel good,” says the PRO. But the details aren’t just aesthetic. Pinpoint perforations behind the knees and larger ones along the thigh mean feeling good is real when things heat up.
Or these side-zip track pants. For Garibaldi, it’s all about the sparkle waistband and easy in-and-out access before and after class.
Speaking of class, Garibaldi’s are on Mondays at 7:15pm and Sundays at 8am at Be Luminous in Seattle. She says her style of yoga is one that’s simple but challenging. It’s all about paying attention to what’s happening inside she says, quoting a favorite teacher: “Yoga begins with listening.”
And as for that Zella PRO action at Nordstrom: on Friday, January 16 and 23 at 8:30am, and on Friday, January 30 at 8am, you can catch up with three more yoga pros by meeting at the 6th Avenue entrance near valet—and do bring your own mat.
