Create a Bold Bond Girl Beauty Statement with Chantecaille
Create a bold Bond Girl beauty statement with Chantecaille, the official makeup line used on the leading ladies in the new James Bond film Skyfall.
“The Chantecaille makeup range gave me the freedom to create on the Bond Girls either a completely natural look or a very strong high-fashion evening look. The New Stick and Future Skin foundations stayed on and only seemed to improve with time,” says Naomi Donne, Skyfall‘s Head Makeup Artist. “They enhanced the skin quality of the actor without ever seeming heavy and needed very little touching up or repair. The range of colors in the lip and eye palette were fantastic, and I used them on the Bond Girls and Judith Dench.”
Find out how to get French actress Bérénice Marlohe’s sultry smoky eye with tips from Nordstrom South Coast Plaza Beauty Stylist Elyse Reneau. “If you want to achieve the Bond Girl look, you have to master the juxtaposition of a smoky, smoldering eye and a soft, kissable pout,” says Elyse.
Elyse’s Smoky Eye Tip:
When doing a smoky eye, always use an eyeshadow base all over the lid to make shadows easier to blend. Apply a smoky shadow from lash line up to the natural crease of the eye. Take a clean, soft blending brush and gently “windshield wipe” the crease to blend any harsh edges. Then take a small precision brush and use your smoky shadow to line the bottom lashes. Using shadow under the eye instead of eyeliner creates a softer, more mysterious look.
