Get the Look: Street Style at Michael Kors and BOSS

New York Fashion Week Spring 2017 is in full swing, and street style has never looked better. Here are a few of our favorite (shoppable!) looks from NYFW, captured by our gimlet-eyed street-style reporter Kristin Yamada, that we plan on emulating posthaste.
Spotted looking chic and preppy outside of Michael Kors, Belgian fashion blogger Sofie Valkiers showed off her impressive knack for incorporating accessories. Want to know how to wear this season’s ubiquitous silk scarf? This way: with pulled-back hair and a simple shirt, a print scarf adds the slightest splash of color. Suede cropped pants and a luxe loafer incorporate two other top trends for fall.
Modeling autumn 2016 Michael Kors outside of the designer’s spring show, bloggers Camila Coelho and Aimee Song perfectly style Kors’ mix-and-match prints and pieces. A plaid mini with a pussy bow blouse is sweetly prim, but the pattern clash and a bold white shoe add a playful mod element.
Dressed to match her beverage, Dutch fashion influencer Linda Tol is the picture of nonchalant cool. Loafer slides may be the closest thing to wearing your slippers everywhere and, now that they have Tol’s endorsement, that’s exactly what we plan to do. Tol has a penchant for cool cuts, so her sweater and bag choices get a well-deserved double take. That Loewe Puzzle bag continues to be one of the more interesting It bags on the street scene.
Greek style blogger Evangelie Smyrniotaki unapologetically rocks a rocker-chick look. Sammy Hagar would be proud, not only of his prominent name on her vintage concert tee, but also of the throwback ’80s-style skirt and white booties. She chose a theme and riffed around it like a true style soloist.
