Modern Minimalism at Helmut Lang

If there’s one thing we never tire of, it’s a fresh collection of minimal-chic dresses and separates from Helmut Lang. Creative directors Nicole and Michael Colovos looked to the crisp, linear paintings of American artist Wade Guyton for spring 2014, creating a black and white palette sprinkled with bright pink, grey stripes and white perforation. Highlights of the show came in two forms: the immaculate draping of each garment and slip-on shower sandals à la 1994. Like ’em or not, they’re coming back, and they’re just as comfy as you might remember.
