Today we’re celebrating the online arrival of Stella McCartney‘s pre-fall ready-to-wear collection. For autumn ’14, the British designer examines concepts of self-expression through exaggerated textures. Sustainability is the cornerstone of McCartney’s brand and is found in the form of organic fabrics and biodegradable rubber soles.

“For this collection, I was inspired by my childhood, growing up in London and then moving to the country. What a contrast,” says McCartney.

Arts & Crafts: English artist Gary Hume partners with McCartney, juxtaposing his graphic drawings with designs on jacquards and intarsia knits.
