New York Fashion Week: September 9
We’ve got highlights from yesterday’s shows, including sultry sirens from Rodarte, lush floral elegance from Oscar de la Renta and the latest from Tory Burch, Naeem Khan, MARC BY MARC JACOBS and Narciso Rodriguez.
Aquatic themes ruled the runway at Rodarte* with sequined mermaid dresses, earthy underwater palettes and skinny jeans paired with boho blouses and swashbuckling boots.
Tory Burch featured sleek silhouettes infused with striking global graphics that were inspired by Picasso muse and artist Françoise Gilot and her life in the South of France.
Oscar de la Renta channeled garden party perfection with soft pastels, retro gingham, ultrafeminine silhouettes and plenty of florals.
A less-is-more attitude took center stage at Narciso Rodriguez with clean lines, plunging V-necks and simple color blocking.
Always a favorite on the red carpet, Naeem Khan continued to bring the glamour with his latest collection, showcasing a dazzling array of flirty and feminine dresses, tees and sweatshirts that ranged from sporty to elegant.
MARC BY MARC JACOBS designers Katie Hillier and Luella Bartley looked to the iconic ’90s club scene for inspiration with bold polka dots, statement tees and loud pops of neon.
