Nordstrom Bistro Chicken Club Sandwich Recipe with Roasted Garlic Aioli | What’s Cooking

Chicken and bacon Bistro Club Sandwich recipe from Nordstrom.

Looking for the next best sandwich recipe? The version served at our Nordstrom Bistro and Bazille restaurants is our take on a pretty classic club with perfectly roasted chicken, crisp bacon, umami-rich tomato. Then we up the gourmet factor with creamy avocado, tender-crisp haricot verts and (here’s the kicker) our secret sauce: Roasted Garlic Aioli. Secret’s out! Our Bistro Club is perfect for a picnic, or prep everything in advance for a quick and tasty weeknight dinner.

Bistro Club Sandwich
From our Nordstrom Bistro and Bazille
(serves 6)

Roasted Garlic Aioli
2 cups mayonnaise
1 clove garlic, finely minced
3 tablespoons roasted garlic
2 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
3/4 teaspoons kosher salt

In a small bowl, whisk all ingredients until well combined. Cover and refrigerate until needed, up to 4 days.

Bistro Club Ingredients (per sandwich)
1 ounce haricot vert
2 slices country bread
2 tablespoons Roasted Garlic Aioli
1/4 ounce mixed baby lettuce greens
5 slices Roma tomato, sliced 1/4 inch thick
3 slices bacon, cooked
3 ounces roast chicken breast, sliced thinly
5 slices avocado, sliced 1/4 inch thick
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add haricot verts and blanch until crisp-tender, about 2 minutes. Drain and shock beans in ice water until cool. Transfer to a double thickness of paper towel and pat dry.
  2. Toast the country bread and spread Roasted Garlic Aioli edge to edge on each upward-facing side. Add the baby greens and tomato. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Top with the bacon, sliced chicken, haricot verts and avocado. Season again with a little salt and pepper. Cover ingredients with the other slice of bread and cut sandwich in half on a slight bias.
  3. Serve, as we do, alongside french fries and Kalamata Olive Aioli for dipping.
