For decades, Seattle has been a crazy wellspring of musical talent: Quincy Jones, The Head and the Heart, Nirvana, Macklemore—all have roots in the 206. One great thing about this never-ending stream of awesome bands is that there’s always something new to check out, like our latest local favorites: Pacific Gold. The band (formerly known as Wayfarer) plays “repurposed hymns and spiritual songs” by taking old lyrical sets and rewriting them with new music and instrumentation.
If this sounds like something you’d be in to, swing by the Metro Level of our Downtown Seattle store at 5pm today—Friday, December 20th—for a live performance from the band. And while you’re there, pick up some last-minute stocking stuffers in our eclectic holiday shop, Pop-In: 4U Brite Lites_Gift City. Until then, take a listen to this pretty little pop ditty from the talented quintet.
