WSJ Magazine Celebrates Five Stylish Years

The Thread heads to the Four Seasons Restaurant to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the WSJ magazine, which threw a stellar bash on the opening day of New York Fashion Week.

To mark the occasion, the Wall Street Journal publication produced its largest September issue to date, which features two covers: another first for the high-fashion glossy.

Actress/model-of-the-moment Drake Burnette graces the Women’s Style issue, donning a sultry white lace Dolce&Gabbana dress that was shot by Josh Olins and styled by Alastair McKimm on location in Brazil.

Photographer Solve Sundsbo shot designer Tom Ford for the cover of the Men’s Style issue, which features a sexy pictorial with model Joan Smalls.

It’s all about peace and postive vibes for singer Skye Ferreria and photographer Terry Richardson, who shot the cover of the Harper’s Bazaar September issue with Sarah Jessica Parker.

Mixologist Eben Freeman serves up tasty libations, and the recipes can be found in the September WSJ Men’s Style issue.

Recognize this face? Model Kati Nescher appears in the fall ’13 Valentino campaign.

WSJ publisher Anthony Cenname personally attends to Martha Stewart’s drink order.

Three’s certainly not a crowd for Harper’s Bazaar and V magazine’s editor-at-large Derek Blasberg, WSJ editor-in-chief Kristina O’Neill and Vogue contributing editor Lauren Santo Domingo.
