Fashion Week

Zanita x Nordstrom: Milan Fashion Week Diary

As Milan Fashion Week came to an end, I think it’s safe to say that I’d fallen in love with the city. The weather was lovely, and it felt like everyone was in a great mood.

A highlight of my trip was seeing Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea perform at the Phillip Plein show—that girl got game! So much fun.

Every meal I ate was pretty spectacular, and I had the chance to see some shows that I never dreamed I’d witness, including Marni, Pucci, Missoni and Dolce&Gabbana. And again I got to be a part of the crazy scene that is street style. Outside Dolce&Gabbana, there were some of the most intense crowds I’ve seen—being that pedestrians were flooding into the traffic. I even saw a photographer have an altercation with a police officer. Tensions were high!

As I type this, I’m actually sitting in my apartment in Paris. There’s so much to get done before I get stuck into running late for every meeting and show I need to attend. Guess it’s not Fashion Week without the total mayhem!

Thankfully, now I’ve learned to try and stick to the Métro and flat shoes—reliability and comfort are the keys to arriving on time and keeping stress levels down. Let’s go, Paris!!
