Did you just get engaged? Congratulations! You’re starting one of the most unique and exciting times in your life—celebrating, planning and celebrating more! Make the most of it all with our 8 helpful tips below:

1. Take a deep breath, smile and say to yourself and your honey: “This will be FUN.” Make a pact to remind each other of that any time you start to feel stressed during the planning process.

2. You’ll be staring at your new bling—and showing it off—quite a bit in the coming weeks. So dress up your digits with a manicure at a Nordstrom Spa near you or DIY with a pretty polish.

3. Have an inspiration party! Get your girlfriends together to binge on bridal blogs, Pinterest and magazines. Married or single, they’ll never turn down a chance to drink wine and look at beautiful wedding ideas!

4. Start a Pinterest board…or change your secret “Someday” board to “The Big Day Is Here!” Follow us on Pinterest for endless inspiration and check out some of our other favorite boards too.

5. Look at real weddings for ideas on themes, colors, DIY projects, bridesmaid looks—and of course, wedding dresses!

6. With engagement parties, bridal showers and bachelorette parties coming up, treat yourself to a cute little white dress. Get ready to party and don’t be afraid to wear white to every event!

7. Have date-night planning sessions with your fiancé! Go out to dinner or get coffee while you talk about ideas. Budget conversations will be much more fun this way!

8. Start dress shopping! It’s never too early—even if you don’t have a venue or a date, you can start discovering what styles you love. Browse online lookbooks, find a Wedding Suite near you and make an appointment with a free Wedding Stylist. Trust us, she’ll become your bridal BFF, handing ALL of the attire for you and your wedding party!

‘Til next time,

“I want a bridesmaid dress that can be worn again after the wedding.” How many times have you heard this, or even thought it yourself? We hear you loud and clear: This is a big deal to both brides and bridesmaids alike!

We also know that it helps to get a little inspiration on how to wear a dress again and again. How can you turn it into an outfit for work, for a date or for a night out with friends?

To offer some ideas, we teamed up with one of our favorite wedding stylists and bloggers: Summer Watkins, aka Lady Grey, of Grey Likes Weddings. Working with three popular bridesmaid dresses—a Monique Lhuillier ruched sheath dress, an Alfred Sung structured satin dress and a flowy chiffon Jenny Yoo dress—we styled each look for the wedding and beyond.

Introducing Wear Now, Wear Later! Click through to our site to see details about the dress and styling items in each look.

Read on for our exclusive interview with Lady Grey:

The Wedding Suite: Summer, you are rocking it in the wedding world with great ideas and beautifully styled photo shoots. How did you get your start?

Summer Watkins: In college, I worked part time for a floral designer, and that job planted the seed of my love for weddings and design. As a result of the skills I picked up, I was asked to do the flowers for all of my friends’ weddings. One thing led to another, and after I started the blog, I received similar requests for styling! Eventually, that led to wardrobe styling, which is actually my favorite genre! It’s so much fun, creating looks for different seasons and themes!

The Wedding Suite: What is your favorite part of working in the wedding business?

SW: The never-ending possibilities! Weddings combine all the best things from every world: fashion, food, mixology, florals, interiors… it never gets boring!

The Wedding Suite: Totally agree. OK, so how many times have you been a bridesmaid? Do you have any best or worst dress stories for us?

SW: I’ve been a bridesmaid seven or eight times. None of the dresses were horrible because—duh—I got to help pick them out! I always feel at my most gorgeous and confident when I’m in a dress of my own choosing, so brides, let your ‘maids have an opinion, and they will be so much happier!

The Wedding Suite: What are your tips for wearing a bridesmaid dress again after the wedding?

SW: My simplest tips are adding layers and jewelry. Think about layers that you’d wear every day: a scarf, a blazer or leather jacket. A collared shirt under a dress makes it look like a jumper. A sweater over a dress makes it look like a skirt. Add tights and boots, and no one will ever know it was a bridesmaid dress.

Next, think jewelry and accessories: A statement necklace or a belt can make a big difference. Although you may wear more delicate pieces for the wedding itself, you can wear chunkier, heavier pieces with the dress later.

Finally, you can always alter the dress as well: Make a long dress short or remove the sleeves!

The Wedding Suite: We know you just got married yourself (because we stalk you on Instagram). Huge congrats! Any tips as a recent bride on picking dresses for your ‘maids?

SW: My tip for brides is to relax a little more. Let your gals choose from a few options, so they feel comfortable. And don’t be afraid to mix it up: A few different hues from the same palette can end up being so pretty!

We couldn’t agree more! Shop more bridesmaid dresses online or make an appointment with a free Wedding Stylist for help outfitting your wedding party—or just for freshening up that old dress you already have!

On the day after a big event—say, oh, a wedding—it’s only natural to want to see pictures right away. While your professional photographer will take a few weeks to process images, you know your guests had their phones and cameras out all night, snapping away! You can start texting or e-mailing, asking people to send photos so you can relive the experience. Or you can prepare ahead of time and use the easy way: Capsule.

This is the kind of moment you want to see—make it easy for your friends to share the photo with you.

Capsule lets guests instantly add digital photos to an album you set up, so all of your wedding photos are in one place, automatically. Users can either add photos from a mobile device through the CapsuleCam app, upload to the web version from a computer or pull in Instagram photos using a specific hashtag. Easy and quick!

You control who sees the photos using a code specific to your album. Just let your guests know the code (put it on a sign, add it to a program, link to it from your wedding website or use Capsule’s custom cards). Friends and family can make comments, share images on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest, and even order prints through the Capsule Marketplace.

Right now, Capsule is holding a Pinterest contest for a chance to win an iPad Mini! Think about your favorite color schemes, a DIY project, a creative cake or your dream Nordstrom wedding dress and build your board. Visit the Capsule blog for more information and start pinning away.

Last month, our friends at inspired us with two wedding-worthy hair how-to videos. Now we’re moving into another hot wedding subject: table decor!

We know this can be a stressful task for many brides who don’t feel confident in their DIY skills or creativity. That’s why we love this mywedding video! In just 2 minutes, five different tablescape themes come to life: big blooms and books; vintage plates and vases; earthy succulents and wood; rustic antlers and lanterns; and quirky lemons and picnic patterns. Each style is distinct, yet simple!

For more tablescape inspiration, check out our Pinterest board The Wedding Table.
