Love is in the air. You’ve surely seen plenty of sparkly chandeliers, but how cool would it be to have flowers as part of your ambiance above? These are just single carnations hanging from string. (Also check out the flower chandelier combo at Nikki and Rene’s wedding!) Image via Ruffled.

Cool shades. Spruce up your beverage of choice with edible flowers frozen in ice cubes. It looks fancy but is about as easy as it gets. We think lavender would be the most delish! Image via Bon Appétit.

Flower bomb. Gift a bulb as an eco-friendly way to say thank you to your guests. Better yet, wrap it in tissue to resemble the flower like the dahlia pictured here. Image via Martha Stewart Weddings.

Blooming jewelry. We love this new take on the floral crown: a floral necklace! These real buds are wired together and hooked to a ribbon tie. This is not for the DIY faint of heart, but it can be done! Image via 100 Layer Cake.

Petal pattern. Honestly, when else will you ever be able to walk down an aisle dripping with flower petals? Never! So go all out with a fancy swirling pattern. And when you’re done with the “I do”s, you can create flower (aka snow) angels—think of the fun photos! Image via Style Me Pretty.

Gold leaf. Love the metallic look? More DIY goodness: give your favorite petals a partial or full coat of gold leaf or spray paint, then tuck them into your bouquet or lay out multiple flowers as a table runner. Image via Brides.
