Making an Exit

When the wedding reception is winding down and the DJ makes an announcement that the final song of the night will play, will you be preparing for a big send-off, or will you be making a quiet escape after the party-goers head home? Ultimately, it’s entirely up to each couple to decide how to make their exit, but we can’t help but love a dramatic departure—and the fun photo ops!

We’ve seen plenty of sparklers, bubbles and rice thrown in the air (which is great, trust us—we looove a fun, sparkly exit!), but if you’re up for a more non-traditional approach, here are some noteworthy send-off styles.

Swept Away: A chair lift, a hot air balloon and a speed boat? Not your typical getaway! These eye-catching modes of transportation are oh-so-romantic—just prepare for the wind!

Hit the Road: If you’re driving off into the sunset, splurge on an old-fashioned getaway car, a fancy golf cart or his-and-hers eco-friendly rides!

Hot Wheels: Want to stay close to your honey as you make your departure? Cuddle up on a scooter, squeeze into a buggy (with a mini-horse pulling it!) or on a bicycle built for two!
